I've done all the necessary studying for the Azure Architect (AZ-305) certificate. I'd even booked the exam for 5.5.2024 already, but then I noticed that my passport had expired. Currently it is totally impossible to get a new passport in a reasonable time, so I had to reschedule the exam.

I only have my driver's licence for identification now, but since the picture in it is nearly 30 years old, it is admittedly rather hard to really identify me from it :D See for yourself:


I actually tried using my driver's licence to identify myself in an earlier exam, but it wasn't accepted for some strange reason... ;)

Purpose: To learn the Swing framework and analyze my golf performance
Technologies: Swing, MySQL

Purpose: To learn the Android SDK and protect my home from burglars
Technologies: Android frontend, shell scripts + motion backend
Details: The Android app connects to my home server via SSH and displays the images taken by 2 webcams. If the alarm system has been switched on and it detects motion, it sends a notification to all who have installed the app. Also it starts playing loud music, hopefully scaring the burglars to leave the building :)
